The Ken Maunder Park Community Sports Centre encompasses two buildings on Ken Maunder Park, Binsted Road, New Lynn, Auckland.\u00a0 These being an Indoor Training Centre and Club Rooms.\u00a0 The Club Rooms include a kitchen, lounge, and bar, also included are traditional sports club facilities ie, changing rooms, showers, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The indoor training centre is a state-of-the-art sports facility that consists of changing rooms, showers, mezzanine viewing area and a large astro-turfed area that can be divided into 5 lanes or opened up to a 45 x 20 metre area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The facilities are also made available for the wider community use. For example, Holiday Programmes, Fitness Boot Camps, Kindy \u2018run around\u2019 sessions, and Birthday Parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The facilities are centered in a sports field which switches sporting codes during the year, 3 football fields with lights for the winter period, and grass and astroturf wickets for cricket during the summer. Outdoor nets are also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
